Here are the top 3 stories in Duluth today:
- The Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) won the Performance state award for excellent service during the pandemic. GCT was acknowledged for its premier service, including seven local routes and five express routes, as well as a commuter express bus, local bus, and paratransit services. During the pandemic, GCT provided hand sanitizer on the buses and deep cleaned them on a daily basis. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
- Officer Andrew Bray of the Duluth Police Department was chosen as Officer of the Month for December 2021. He was nominated for going above and beyond, his commitment to the job, and his willingness to make Duluth a safer place. The Department congratulates Officer Bray on his exemplary service to the community. (Facebook)
- Professional bull riders (PBR) will return to Duluth for the 'Unleash The Beast' tour in Duluth with the PBR Gwinnett Invitational. At the Gas South Arena this weekend (Jan. 22-23), the competitors will ride one bull for the first two rounds, then the top 12 riders will advance to the championship.
