Campaigning for Post 1 of the Duluth City Council has been a wonderful experience. I have met many extraordinary people and experienced the unique diversity of this city. While I am the face and voice of this campaign I am only the conduit for your hopes and dreams. I want to thank all of you for your support and the time it required to vote.
Based on the results from yesterday’s election the incumbent and I are going into a runoff on December 3rd. Over 50% of the votes cast were for someone other than the incumbent, clearly the voters want change. In the short time between now and December 3rd I plan on increasing my commitment to personally met as many voters as possible and to communicate in specific terms how I will implement a strategy for my stated goals of being a Voice for the People, Fiscal Responsibility and how I will Highlight Economic Development.
I need your continued support and engagement to allow for an opportunity to change the future of Duluth. Once again thank you for your support and I hope to see you soon in the streets and neighborhoods of our city.
