• SCFD updates fleet with three new fire engines, one new ladder engine (griffindailynews.com) — Spalding County’s fire protection just got a major boost, with three new fire engines and a $1.5 million ladder truck now in service around Griffin after supply-chain delays. The county is also planning new engines for Stations 7 and 8, plus a new station on Teamon Road, while older trucks are shifted to training, backup, or surplus use.
