Head coach Bernard Goodrum says the matchup will be a key first test for Griffin’s young offensive and defensive lines and a chance to show the championship mindset they’ve built all offseason.
   

• Woman hit by car, killed trying to cross I-75 in Henry County: GSP (11alive.com) — State troopers say a McDonough woman died early Thursday after being struck by two vehicles while trying to cross I-75 northbound near mile marker 227 in Griffin. Georgia State Patrol reports she was hit first by a Chevrolet Silverado, then by a Toyota RAV4, and pronounced dead at the scene as the investigation continues.
