3. Gwinnett County district attorney challenging new election law (atlantanewsfirst.com) — Gwinnett County District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson is suing to overturn a new Georgia law that makes DA races nonpartisan in five metro Atlanta counties, including Gwinnett. She argues the change limits voter information and unfairly targets diverse counties, while supporters say it removes politics from prosecution.
