Othram, GBI Identify Suspect in 2020 Homicide of 21-Year-Old (forensicmag.com) — Investigators have identified and charged a 27-year-old man in the 2020 shooting death of 21-year-old Norcross resident Tyler Hall, using advanced DNA and genealogy analysis. The Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office joined multiple agencies in the long-running case, which remains open as authorities continue seeking tips from the community.
   

4. Troy police: Suspect wanted for May 2026 murder arrested in Georgia (troyrecord.com) — A murder suspect from Troy, New York was seriously injured and captured after an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement in Gwinnett County, where local police and the sheriff's office played key roles. Authorities stress no bystanders or officers were hurt, and they're directing any questions about the Georgia operation to Gwinnett County's public information line.
