Artistry in Action at Charter School
Cherokee Charter Academy is a tuition-free public charter school educating Cherokee County students in grades K-8.
Children's book illustrator Michael P. White inspired budding young artists & authors at Cherokee Charter Academy in Canton. White is the illustrator of books such as The Library Dragon, The Secret Life of Old Zeb and Harriett's Horrible Hair Day. Much of the fun was a captivating airbrush painting demonstration. Kids were also encouraged to create their own masterpieces, both artistic and literary.
