Barracudas Finish Strong

The Bradshaw Farm Barracudas close out the 2011 summer swim season in Towne Lake with a 129 point victory over the Eagle Watch Eaglerays, 533-404.

There were all-stars aplenty in this meet.  These Barracuda swimmers each won three individual races:

 

Mallory Metraw (Girls 15-18): 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM

Sophie Roy (Girls 13-14): 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard Freestyle

Kamryn Carter (Girls 11-12): 50 Yard Backstroke, 50 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard Freestyle

Ansley Davis (Girls 11-12): 50 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Butterfly, 100 Yard IM

Jordan Weems (Girls 9-10): 25 Yard Backstroke, 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Freestyle

Michael Vogel (Boys 13-14): 50 Yard Butterfly, 50 Yard Backstroke, 100 Yard Freestyle

Blake Wallace (Boys 11-12): 50 Yard Backstroke, 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Freestyle

Austin Yearout (Boys 7-8): 50 Yard Freestyle, 25 Yard Butterfly, 25 Yard Backstroke

 

The Eaglerays were led by Alec Cohen who's headed for the UGA swim team.  Alec won the (Boys 15-18) 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Breaststroke and 100 Yard Freestyle.  Two other Eaglerays won three races apiece:  Landon Guinther was tops in (Boys 11-12) 50 Yard Butterfly, 50 Yard Breaststroke and 100 Yard Freestyle while Grace Drawdy took top honors in (Girls 7-8) 50 Yard Freestyle, 25 Yard Butterfly and 100 Yard IM. 

 

The Barracudas finish with a 4-1 record.  Eagle Watch is 1-4.
