Barracudas Recognize Strongest Swimmers

The Bradshaw Barracudas Swim Team capped off a successful summer 2011 swim season by recognizing its outstanding swimmers at the team’s annual banquet. 

The “High Point” award winners are the swimmers who scored the most points for the team in swim meets:

15-18 Boys:  Jack Syers          (Team Record 50 Backstroke)

15-18 Boys:  Ben Syers

15-18 Girls:  Mallory Metraw    (Team Record 50 Freestyle)

13/14 Boys:  Kyle Renner

13/14 Girls:  Brittni Hoover      (Team Record 50 Backstroke)

11/12 Boys:  Blake Wallace

11/12 Girls:  Kamryn Carter    (Team Record 50 Breaststroke, 100 Freestyle,)

9/10 Boys:  Adam LaSelva      (Team Record 25 Backstroke, 25 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle)

9/10 Girls:  Jordan Weems      (Team Record 25 Backstroke, 50 Freestyle)

7/8 Boys:  Grant Davis           (Team Record 25 Backstroke)

7/8 Boys:  Austin Yearout       (Team Record 25 Butterfly)

7/8 Girls:  Morgan Carter

6/Under Boys: Brock Freeman

6/Under Girls:  Laurel Blase     (Team Record 25 Yard Freestyle)

The 2011 Coach’s Award winners are Hannah Lee and Joshua Bath.  The Barracuda Spirit award went to Adam Hall and Caroline Bagwell.  Kiley Howard and Leah Eubanks are the 2011 Extra Mile Award winners.  The Bitty Barracuda winners are Katie McCrobie and Will Murphy.

The 2011 Most Improved Swimmers are Lilah Lathbury, Brady Harmon, Claire Hathcock, Jake Howard. Bethany Palmer, Logan Cobb, Alexandria Vyneman, Chris Kroes and Mikayla Miller.

With a 4-1 record, the Barracudas are first runner-up to the Red League champion Deer Run Dolphins.
