Hope Abounds for Student Authors
This is the second school year for Cherokee Charter Academy, the county's only public charter school.
βHopeβ was the inspiration for Cherokee Charter Academyβs first-everΒ creative writing competition.Β Students could enter stories, poems or songs theyβd written.Β
Students in kindergarten through second grade were judged on creativity, following guidelines and illustrations.Β
Older students were given a line to integrate into their works.Β
