Hope Abounds for Student Authors

“Hope” was the inspiration for Cherokee Charter Academy’s first-ever creative writing competition.  Students could enter stories, poems or songs they’d written. 

Students in kindergarten through second grade were judged on creativity, following guidelines and illustrations. 

Older students were given a line to integrate into their works. 

Children's author and CCA parent Jordan Crowl donated copies of his newest book, “Fairness,” to the K-5 honorees.
