Our Thoughts Are with the Kid Connection Family

Yesterday, both Kid Connection locations (Holly Springs and Hickory Flat) announced that after over two decades in the childcare industry that they will be closing their doors on Friday due to the owner, Bettina Crenshaw, battling a serious illness.

There is nothing enjoyable about watching a small business shutter its doors and when it is due to illness, the pain runs even deeper.

Holdheide is saddened by this news and our thoughts and prayers are with the Crenshaw family, the students and their families displaced by the closure and the teachers and staff who, two weeks before Christmas, are now searching for new employment.

Due to the completion of our new school, we have classrooms available, which we would like to offer to the Kid Connection classes.  We would love to see the one year through 4 year old classes move as a whole, with their current teachers, in order to make this less traumatic for the children.

Holdheide will stay open later on Tuesday (until 7:30 pm) and Thursday (until 7 pm)  to be able to talk with parents and former Kid Connection staff to see how we can work together so that everyone can enjoy their Holidays.  Please just give us a call and let us know to expect you!  Our number is 770-516-2292.
