A Cherokee County School District team has won a community wellness challenge!

The Walk This Weigh Team from Cherokee High School was the overall winner in the Northside Hospital Cherokee Fall Wellness Challenge, a community competition sponsored by the hospital with prizes for teams that met health, fitness and wellness goals.  Team members are Chrissy Davis, Lori Johnson, Jennifer Pittman and Rene Swanson.

Roughing It Smoothly from Woodstock High School: Carolina Ayerbe, Sonya Breaux, Melanie Salas and Patty Sloan, followed in the rankings for CCSD, along with Slow Down For What: Wendy Comelitti of Free Home Elementary School, Alyson Counts of Indian Knoll Elementary School, Lucy Pence of Liberty Elementary School, Joy Silk of CCSD’s Office Curriculum & Instruction and Sole Sisters: CCSD Office of Curriculum & Instruction’s Leah Adkins, Elizabeth Crook, Chris Herd and Stacie McAlpine.
