Charter School Helps House of Hope

Cherokee Charter Academy's #BEPAW-sitive holiday service project was to provide dinners for The House of Hope.

The entire school came together including Kindergarten & First Grade families that collected canned vegetables, Second & Third Grade families provided canned yams, instant potatoes and mac & cheese, Fourth & Fifth Grade families collected cranberry sauce & boxed desserts and families from Sixth through Eighth Grades provided toiletries.

On its Facebook page, The House of Hope gives thanks, “I am here at Cherokee charter academy picking up food ... they did an awesome food drive for us. I am overwhelmed by the amount, we’re not sure the church van will even hold it... this is absolutely amazing.”
