Charter's 'Pennies for Patients'

At Cherokee Charter Academy, elementary and middle school students spent the month of March collecting Pennies for Patients. The school's Jr. Beta Club was in charge of the project and collected and counted the money. Each class was asked to collect pennies for the cause. The money raised will benefit Pennies for Patients from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Ms. Lebouf's 1st Grade class raised the most money with $22. In all, the students at CCA collected over $200 in pennies for the cause.
