Cherokee Charter Strives to Help Louisiana Flood Victims

The school raised two-thousand dollars to aid those affected.

The disastrous flooding in Louisiana has had a devastating impact on schools there, including Cherokee Charter Academy’s CSUSA sister schools. CCA students’ fundraising efforts to aid in the recovery included a “Jeans Day.” Kids at CCA wear school uniforms, but on this special day they could wear jeans with a $2 contribution to the CSUSA Giving Tree Foundation. The school has given two-thousand dollars to the foundation. In total, the foundation has raised $30,000 to help with Louisiana recovery efforts.
