Inspiring a love for reading was the goal of the nationwide Read Across America campaign. Students at Cherokee Charter Academy used the special day to read their favorite book or read to younger students. Since it was also Dr. Seuss's birthday, many kids...and teachers...had a blast dressing up as their favorite Seuss characters.
