Cherokee Charter's Science Team Scores Big
A "Think Lab" is part of Cherokee Charter Academy's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) initiative.
Cherokee Charter Academy's Science Olympiad Team won four first place medals, one second place medal and three third place awards at the Regional Science Olympiad Competition at South Cobb High School in Austell. The CCA team comprised of 6th, 7th & 8th graders also earned ribbons in five other events. Team members include: Kenskey Thomas, Maulik Durani, Allison Palmer, Kaitlyn Gower, Emily Parent, Regan Cerlanek, Vevey Libert, Lexi Shroyer, Marina Tonner, Emily Flair, Harnoor Grewal, Abigail Howe, Max Evangelista, Celine Mondesir, Lina Wiseman, and Asia Griffiths.
