Cherokee County Fire Station Open House
The newly built Fire Station 3 is having an open hours on Saturday, and county fire officials are inviting the public to join.
HICKORY FLAT, GA -- The Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services is hosting an open house of its new fire station on Saturday, May 20. The public is invited, especially those who could not make it to the grand opening in January.
The Saturday even will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and features snacks, hot dogs, and more. Attendees will see the Fire Safety House and fire engines. The fire station is at 290 Crown Ave. in Hickory Flats.
According to Cherokee County Fire Chief, Tim Prather, “We had the official grand opening at this station back in January. However, we wanted to do an open house for the residents and their families, who could not attend the grand opening, to come out and tour this wonderful new facility.”
