James Rollins Jr. of Peach Consolidation Property, LLCΒ is petitioning the city of Holly Springs to annex and rezone 3.2 acres at 3925 and 3907 Hickory Flat Highway from R-40 residential to general commercial. The company plans to build a convenience store with gas sales on the property.Β
The properties sitΒ across from the Harmony on the Lakes development.Β
Commissioners will also hold a public hearing for its proposed 2014 budget, which is proposed at $167.3 million. That's a 10 percent drop from the current budget of $187.3 million.
The budget reduction is driven by the county cutting capital project spending and a lower debt service.
