Deadline To Register To Vote in Holly Springs is Monday
Advanced voting in Holly Springs and Cherokee County for the Nov. 4 general election will start on Oct. 13.

Holly SpringsΒ and Cherokee County residents who want to vote in the upcoming Nov. 4 general election, but are not registered will have until Monday to make that happen.
The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming election ends is Monday, Oct. 6. Residents who have a valid Georgiaβs driverβs license or identification card can go online and register to vote, the Georgia Secretary of Stateβs Office said in a press release.
The GA Votes app also allows Georgians to register to vote. Using the MVP feature on the app, Georgia voters can view their specific sample ballot, find their polling locations, check voter registration status and track the status of their absentee ballot.

All of this information is available on mobile devices on iOS and Android platforms. To find the app search for GA Votes in the Apple app store or the Google Play store.
Early voting in Cherokee County will start on Oct. 13. Voters can cast ballots at the Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13 through Friday, Oct. 17 and Monday, Oct. 20 through Friday, Oct. 24.

The office is located at 400 East Main Street in downtown Canton.
Advanced voting will kick off with a chance to vote on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the elections office and the Ball Ground, Hickory Flat, Rose Creek and Woodstock public libraries.
Advanced voting will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 through Friday, Oct. 31 at those five locations. No voting will take place on Nov. 3 and all precincts will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 for the general election.
The runoff date for state and local general election is set for Dec. 2 while any federal runoff election would be held on Jan. 6, 2015.
