Death Notice: John Marvette Simmons, Jr.

John Marvette Simmons, Jr., 75, of Cumming, died on Aug. 25 at

Simmons was aand served in the U.S. Airforce with Top Security Clearance.

He was an avid wildlife photographer, enjoyed hiking and the outdoors. He also loved Bluegrass Music and devoted many years researching family history.

Simmons was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Simmons of Ball Ground.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Joe R. and Sandi Simmons, Rincon; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
