
James Tolbert, 80, of Cumming, died Tuesday.
He was a retired HVAC Installation Technician, a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a member of the American Legion and a Deacon at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Jimmie Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. and 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Tolbert.

Survivors include daughters, Faye D. Holbrook, Cumming, Sharon (Ronnie) Cronan, Dawsonville, Jean (Rickey) Waddell, Holly Springs, Sue (Charlie) Peace, Panama City Beach, FL, and Lynn (Craig) Lee, Ball Ground; brothers, Max Tolbert, Marvin Tolbert and J.D. Tolbert, all of Alabama; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
