Flash Flood Watch Until Sunday Morning

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the area until 8 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

β€œThis will elevate the potential for flash flooding along and north of Interstate 20, and especially in the higher terrain of North Georgia,” according to the NWS.

An additional 2 to 4 inches are possible, causing flash flooding of roadways and near creeks, small streams, and low lying or urban areas.
