Holly Springs Police To Offer Active Shooter Seminar

The agency's session will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 at First Baptist Church of Holly Springs.

Holly Springs, GA -- The Holly Springs Police Department next month will offer tips on how residents can prepare for and respond to an active shooter event that places you near this chaotic situation.

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event (CRASE) will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 at First Baptist Church of Holly Springs.

American law enforcement establishments have the quickest response times in the world. However, a shooter can wreak great havoc before help arrives. Attendees will learn several simple steps to prepare themselves for appropriate action if such an event occurs.

The seminar is open to everyone, including children. However, parental guidance is strongly recommended.

First Baptist Church Holly Springs is located at 2632 Holly Springs Parkway, and the church seats about 250 people. Doors will open to the general public at 6:30 p.m., and seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
