Holly Springs Receives Budget Presentation Award

The city of Holly Springs has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).

The award was presented to City Manager/Finance Director Rob Logan. 

To receive this award, the city’s 2013 budget had to be rated as “proficient” for serving as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide and communications device, as well as 14 other mandatory criteria within those four categories.

Although GFOA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award is the only national awards program in governmental budgeting, recipients have lead the way to improve the quality of budgeting and provide an excellent example for other governments throughout North America.
