Memorial Day 5K, Fun Run Will Benefit Holly Springs Police Foundation
The annual race organized by the city will be held May 23.

The city of Holly Springs next month will hold its annual Memorial Day 5K and Fun Run.
The race will start at 8 a.m. May 23 at Holly Springs Elementary School and conclude at Barrett Park.
Each year, the city gives the proceeds of the race to a local non-profit organization. This year, the city is proud to support Friends of Holly Springs Police Foundation, Inc., whose mission is to enhance the performance of the Holly Springs Police Department through the guidance and financial support of community partners.

Registration is $25 through May 22, and $30 on the day of the race. Those interested can pre-register on Active.com. Further details, including the race route and mail-in registration forms, can be found online.
A part of the Black Bag race series, awards will be given for overall male and female, masters male and female and three deep in 15 age groups ranging from 10 and under to 75 and over.
