Quik Trip Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested: Police

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA -- Investigators with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office made an arrest in the May 5 armed robbery of the Quik Trip on Holly Springs Parkway and Sixes Road. The suspect's image, caught on store surveillance, was released soon after the incident.

Investigators executed a search warrant in Holly Springs on Friday, May 12, on a location they found working off a tip from a citizen who recognized the suspect in the surveillance footage. The Holly Springs home was less than a mile from the Quik Trip.

The press release sent by Lt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said that Chase Henderson, 17, of Holly Springs, was one responsible for the robbery. He was taken into custody and charged with one count of armed robbery and remains in custody without bond at the Cherokee Adult Detention Center.
