Several Holly Springs Car Break-Ins Prompt Police Warning

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA — Police in Holly Springs are asking residents to protect their belongings after receiving several reports of car break-ins in the city.

Holly Springs Police took to Facebook Monday to share tips on how to prevent car break-ins.

"Let's work together to keep our community safe and prevent vehicle break-ins," police said in the social media post.

The tips included:

• Always lock your car doors and windows.
• Park in well-lit areas or in places with surveillance cameras.
• Do not leave valuables or personal identification documents in your car.
• Consider using anti-theft devices, such as steering wheel locks or alarms.
• Report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
