Spring Fling Fundraiser at Primrose School of Harmony on the Lakes Brings Holly Springs Community Together
Event Raises $3,155 for Anna Crawford Children's Center and Primrose Children's Foundation
May 23, 2016 – Students, families and staff from Primrose School Harmony on the Lakes demonstrated their commitment to giving back this week, raising $3,155 for local and national charities through a Spring Fling event held on May 13th. The funds raised will be split between Anna Crawford Center for Children a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect; and protecting and serving child and families and the Primrose Children’s Foundation, the not-for-profit organization of Primrose Schools® that supports national charitable partners like Save the Children.
“At Primrose, we’re committed to teaching our students about helping others and giving without expectation,” said Dr. Sandra Chaney, Franchise Owner at Primrose School of Harmony on the Lakes. “Our annual Spring Fling event is one way we do this. Not only are we able to give back to our wonderful community, but it also gives local families an opportunity to come together in a fun way.”

The event included family friendly games, crafts and prizes along with a giant hamster ball, obstacle course, face and nail painting and themed baskets raffle. Community business such as Tons of Fun Gym Bus, State Farm Insurance Agent, Daniel Lauger and Marco’s pizza, helped sponsor the event. We were also proud to have a visit from Holly Springs Police Officers.
Anna Crawford Center for Children will use the donated proceeds from the Spring Fling event to support the thousands of Cherokee County children and family members impacted by abuse and neglect, allowing them to live healthier, fuller and happier lives.

Funding raised for the Primrose Children’s Foundation will be used to support Save the Children, the world’s top independent charity for children in need and national partner of Primrose Schools. The organization has robust and impactful programs in the United States, such as child sponsorship and emergency preparedness, that provide children living in poverty with the skills and resources they need to succeed in school and in life.
