Sugar Plum University at Dancentre South

Sugar Plum University is a wonderful chance for your young dancer to experience the magical world of ballet! Girls ages 4-6 will study ballet basics in 5 classes and also learn short dance to be performed prior to the Saturday, December 19, 11:00am performance of The Nutcracker of Cherokee County as presented by Dancentre South Company at the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center Theatre, KSU-Marietta Campus in Marietta. The classes meet at the Dancentre South Hickory Flat location from 4:15-5:00pm on Wednesdays – Nov. 4, 11, 18 & December 2 & 9.

Sugar Plum University includes:

· 5 ballet classes

· A brief performance on stage

· A leotard, tights and tutu to be worn for class and the performance

· An official Sugar Plum University t-shirt

· V.I.P. seating at the Saturday, December 19, 11:00am performance of The Nutcracker of Cherokee County including complimentary tickets for one child and one adult. (Additional tickets in our V.I.P. section available for purchase at $19 for adults and $14 for children)

Sugar Plum University is presented as a senior project by a Dancentre South Company member who is a senior at Creekview High School and is supervised by Dancentre South Owner/Artistic Director, Annie Day.
