Tiger Tails: The Best In Arts & Letters From Cherokee Charter Academy- MUSIC EDITION!

Two 7th grade and six 8th grade students from Cherokee Charter Academy were among 200 students from North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia chosen to attendΒ a band conference at Young Harris College.Β  Students were put into three different bands, CCA students in a band conducted by Rick Land. They rehearsed for just 8 hours and performed a complete concert consisting of four works!

The CCA students that performed were:Β 

Anna Grace Jenkins, 8th Grade Oboe

In addition to rehearsing and performing, students got the chance to tour the Young Harris campus.Β
