Sequoyah 24, South Forsyth 17 – secured its second win of the season and scored 24 points off the running of junior Blake Ingleton, according to the Cherokee Tribune, who ran for 209 yards and three touchdowns. Ingleton scored the go-ahead touchdown with just over three minutes to play.
The win puts the Chiefs in eighth place in Region 7-AAAA play and two games out of a possible playoff spot.
Rome 21, Creekview 14 – After spotting Rome two quick rushing touchdowns Friday, calmed down and kept Rome out of the end zone until late.

D’Ondrei Hubbard rushed for 51 yards and quarterback Haden Hall threw for 87 yards, according to the Cherokee Tribune, but Rome scored late to ice the Region 7-AAAA game.
