Bell Road at Cauley Creek Limited to 1 Lane on Monday
The city of Johns Creek said motorists should expect future lane closures for the project, which replaces the bridge spanning the creek.

The project to replace the bridge over Cauley Creek will force the city to reduce Bell Road to one lane on Monday.
Only one lane will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 23, the city said late Sunday evening. The city is replacing the bridge that spans the creek.

Workers with flags will manage traffic flow, and commuters should expect delays and consider alternative routes.
Additionally, motorists should expect future lane closures while the bridge, built in 1961, is being replaced.

One lane will remain open throughout the project because there are no good alternative routes nearby, and because it carries a high volume of traffic, about 10,000 vehicles per day.
The project, which is expected to last into winter, will include a 10-foot trail on one side and a 5-foot-wide sidewalk on the other. The existing bridge has no room for pedestrians or bicyclists.
