Bite Me!
The Food Snob says Bite is a delicious new bistro is Alpharetta. The friendly atmosphere and welcoming owner makes this a pleasant stop for lunch or dinner.

I was in a really horrible mood yesterday because I had a realtor open house caravan at our home today and had to be out of my house and office all morning.
I chose to use the time wisely and run all my errands. Realizing is was 1 p.m. and I hadn't eaten – I have a really bad habit of skipping breakfast, having only my usual coffee with a shot of espresso, and not eating until late afternoon – it was time to stop and eat. My doctor is screaming at me right now!
On my way home I decided to stop in at Bite, Creative Cuisine & Catering, a small bistro at 11500 Webb Bridge Way (just off Kimball Bridge Road). I knew the restaurant had opened and I just haven't had the opportunity to stop in. Boy, am I happy I did.

The small cozy space is decorated with ample seating for the lunch crowd, a bar area with very comfortable cushy seats and outdoor seating, as well.
The atmosphere is Metropolitan Chic – I am making up this term as a new description for cool and comfortable spaces in the suburbs of Johns Creek and Alpharetta that are trendy-ish, think city flare, but outside the city. I kinda like it.

Leif Johnson is the owner of Bite. He is a California transplant to the Duluth area. He brought with him a flare for creating simple yet tasty dishes. His restaurant has been open for about a month and a half.
Having been in the catering and wine business in Sacramento, Calif., he has brought his expertise to us in Atlanta. Leif, along with Jason Morgan, "Chef de Cuisine" as he refers to his kitchen collaborator, have created a menu full of wonderful dishes such as Veggie Tacos, which I must say were "fabulous," Salmon Caesar, Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread and so much more.
Leif told me he tries to use locally grown and seasonal ingredients, which I am sure my daughter, Miss Sustainability, will greatly appreciate.
Seated at the bar you can watch both Leif and Jason prepare your meal with the precision of two dancers in perfect step. The arrangement of your plate is carefully executed and beautifully presented.
The photo of the Curry Chicken I have included is a fine example of the evolution of their combined effort. I just love when the presentation is just as awe-inspiring as the taste of the food. I used to tell my sister that our mother made food, but I prepare a meal. Big difference, but you can count on Leif and Jason to astonish you with their plates of delectable bites!
Bite will begin serving dinner shortly, maybe by the end of this week. Watch for the event.
I will be dining here again for lunch and beginning in October with the ladies of St. Marlo, who will be graced with my presence, The Food Snob.
It is my recommendation that you try Bite and support the efforts of the local residents of Johns Creek. It is so nice to see a new presence of individually owned, friendly restaurants we can frequent where we feel completely welcome.
I will be reviewing the dinner menu in October. Stay tuned.
