The bus catering to special needs students was transporting the children from Lake Windward Elementary School just before 3 p.m. when the collision occurred, Byers said.
Samantha Evans, spokesperson with the Fulton County School System, said there were four students on the bus at the time of the crash.
Byers said three students and the driver suffered non-life threatening injuries. Evans added the driver’s ”minor injury” was situated along his leg.
The driver of the truck will be cited for traffic signal violation, Byers stated.
