Easter Egg Hunts, Spring Carnival, Earth Day Activities on Tap this Weekend
Hop into spring this weekend with a variety of outdoor activities.

Where/When: , 3150 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek; Sunday, April 17. "Pre-hunt" activities begin at 12:30 p.m.; egg hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. sharp.
Why: What would spring be without an egg hunt? Children have the opportunity to hunt for thousands of filled eggs "hidden" all over Newtown Park's main soccer field, with special prize eggs in each age-group area. Enjoy face painting, moonwalk, children's activities, and an opportunity to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Please bring a basket to collect your eggs and a camera for pictures.

Why: Johns Creek United Methodist Church Preschool is having its sixth annual "Kids Helping Kids Carnival." Bring your friends, neighbors and family to enjoy train rides, games, a dunk tank, silent auctions, several fun inflatables, food, refreshments and pony rides. Proceeds from this carnival will benefit Camp Sparrowwood, Emory Johns Creek Hospital and JCUMC’s preschool.

Where/When: 8000 Holcomb Bridge Road, Alpharetta; Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m.-noon
Why: Join "Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta" for a safe, fun-filled day for the entire family as they celebrate Easter. The Easter Bunny will be present and there will be a toy-filled Easter egg hunt (grouped by age and will begin at 10:15 a.m.).
Price: Professional photos with the Easter Bunny can be purchased for $20.
Where/When: South Main Street, Alpharetta; Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Why: Nearly 100 artists from throughout the United States will be showcased at the seventh annual Alpharetta Arts Streetfest. Enjoy live jazz, roots rock and Celtic music, as well as cultural dancing and more. Free parking will be available at City Hall and Milton Center.

Where/When: , 750 Hickory Flat Road, Milton; Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why: Milton Grows Green (MGG) and the City of Milton present Milton’s second annual Earth Day Festival. Visit local vendors, including arts, crafts, animal rescue, environmentally friendly products and services and food for picnicking. The festival will also include: Human “Hamster Balls,” wagon rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, electric car rides, live music by Airsoft 360 and a “Green Egg” hunt with environmental goodies.
