Free Outdoor Fitness Classes Begin April 7 In Johns Creek
The Free Outdoor Fitness classes return this spring on April 7 at Newtown Park.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Now that Spring is upon us, the City of Johns Creek is getting ready to offer free outdoor fitness classes beginning in April.
Free Outdoor Fitness classes at Newtown Park are a great way to stay healthy and have fun. Certified instructors teach these popular classes and all fitness levels are welcome.
The one-hour classes will begin on Sunday, April 7 with Yoga. All classes begin at 10 a.m. and are held at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater in Newtown Park.

Classes in April include outdoor Yoga, Bar-less Barre and Zumba.
Yoga moves at a slower pace, improving flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and stress management through stretches, poses and relaxation techniques.

The Bar-less Barre classes are ballet inspired exercises that use small isometric movements to build muscle, improve posture, balance and flexibility.
Zumba is a popular fitness program that combines popular music with easy to follow dance moves for an effective and exhilarating calorie-burning workout.
All participants must bring their own exercise mats. Participants under the age of 16 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
