UPDATE: Barnwell Road at Holcomb Bridge Road Now Open
A two-vehicle, head-on collision closed the intersection around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The Johns Creek Police Department now says the intersection has reopened, according to its Facebook page.

A two-vehicle accident has closed Barnwell Road at Holcomb Bridge Road in Johns Creek.
The closure is expected to last ”an hour or two,” and motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route, the city of Johns Creek said in a news alert.

The accident occurred when two vehicles collided head-on. Drivers of both vehicles suffered non-life threatening injuries, the city noted.
