Hooch’s Owens Signs to Play Football at New York’s Wagner College
During his three years as quarterback, Owens racked up 62 touchdowns and 6,824 all-purpose yards

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Chattahoochee High School's Chase Owens has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. Wagner is a Division I school playing in the Northeast Conference.
Owens led Chattahoochee High School's varsity football team for three years as quarterback where he had 5,758 passing yards, 46 passing touchdowns, 1,066 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns for a total of 6,824 all-purpose yards and 62 touchdowns. A team captain, Owens won multiple regional awards including All Region Team, Player of the Week, Underclassman of the Year and the Freshman Leadership Award.
Additionally, Owens was a three-year varsity starter in track and field, participating in various sprints events including the 110m hurdles.

Owens, who has played football in the Chattahoochee program since he was 8, participated in the USA Football National Team program since 7th grade and played in multiple all-star games including Team Georgia, Offense Defense Rising Stars and NPFA's Top Rising Freshman Game. Starting the spring of his senior year, Owens worked with recruiting consultant Jim Terry in finding a "right fit" program for his academic and athletic needs. Owens plans to study business while playing quarterback for the Wagner College Seahawks.
