Chattahoochee High School's Kelly House will play softball at Kentucky Christian University.

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Chattahoochee High School’s Kelly House has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. A four-year varsity starter, House helped bring Chattahoochee's softball team to state as a senior in 2016.

House ended her senior season in October with the team’s highest batting average at .500 and was named Outstanding Offensive Player. Throughout her high school softball career, she was named 2015 Catcher of the Year and earned the second-highest single-season batting average, most number of hits in a single season, most number of runs scored in a single season, and holds the fourth overall career batting average in school history.

House, who started playing softball when she was 5, has played travel softball on Purple Crush, Georgia Crush and the Signature Park Firehawks. She went to the Softball World Series in Orlando, Florida, with her first travel team, Purple Crush, where they took fifth.
