Johns Creek Dog Park Nominated For Readers Choice Award
The Newtown Dream Dog Park is among the nominees for USA TODAY's 10Best Readers Choice awards.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Johns Creek's own Newtown Dream Dog Park has been nominated in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice award for the best dog park.
Residents can vote once a day in the contest, which ends at 11:59 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10.
Winners will be announced at noon Friday, Oct. 14. You can click here to cast your vote in the contest.

The Newtown Dream Dog Park, located inside Newtown Park, is a fenced, one-acre park featuring artificial turf, sprinklers and obstacles and water fountains for both people and pets.
It also includes a separate area for small and large breeds, along with benches, shelters and shade trees.

Dog waste bags are provided and all dog owners are required to clean up after their dogs.
Note from the city: The Newtown Dream Dog Park will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29 for deep cleaning and repairs.
