Johns Creek Police To Hold Self-Defense, Safety Class For Girls

The free class will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 1 at Johns Creek Police Department headquarters.

The Johns Creek Police Department will hold a free self-defense class specifically for girls.

The Teen Safety and Self-Defense class will allow the students to learn situational awareness and self-defense tactics. Mothers are also invited to participate in this class too.

The class is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. July 1.

The class is taught by Sgt. Debbie Kalish and Sgt. Ben Finley, who are both experience defensive tactics instructors with more than 30 years combined law enforcement experience.

The class is taught at police department's headquarters at 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
