Meet MOCA! Sweetness Personified!

Moca, a 10 year old, 32-pound purebred Cocker Spaniel, had a family once.

One day, out of the blue, that family decided that they just didn’t want Moca anymore, and planned to drop him off at animal control. Angels Among Us Pet Rescue discovered this, and arranged an owner surrender of Moca, knowing that if he ended up at the shelter, he would be at the top of the euthanasia list as most senior and owner surrender dogs are.

Moca has come through severe matting, ear and eye infections, and seizures, and is now ready for his forever home!

He is a true Velcro dog and follows his foster mom everywhere she goes.

Because he is an older dog, Moca is past the crazy, pesky puppy stages.  He is very laid back and willing to go with the flow. If you want to play, he wants to play. If you want to watch TV, read or work on the computer, he will just find a good spot on the floor to lie down and chew on a toy or take a nap.

He loves kids and other dogs, both big and small. This dog is very respectful and doesn't get on the furniture unless invited and even then, prefers to lay next to you as opposed to on your lap.  He has never shown any resource guarding of food, toys, beds or people.  Moca loves having his belly rubbed!

He is totally house trained and has never had an accident in the house. He doesn't need to be crated when people leave the house. And to top it all off –he has an adorable snore. This boy is a catch!

Moca is looking for his true forever home now, and he’s eager to find it. His perfect home will be one with a fenced-in yard, a furry brother for Moca to play with, and a loving family who will be home the majority of the time since Moca loves his people so much.
