Motorcyclist Injured In Johns Creek Crash

The driver of a Honda CRV said she was making a left turn from Jones Bridge Road when the motorcycle operator crashed into her vehicle.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- An operator of a motorcycle was rushed to an area hospital Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision on a major thoroughfare.

According to an accident report released by the Johns Creek Police Department, a 2016 Honda CR-V was traveling southbound on Jones Bridge Road around 2:12 p.m. Feb. 13 when its driver to make a left turn onto St. Andrews Parkway.

When she made the turn, the operator of a 2013 Honda CB500FD -- who was traveling northbound -- collided with her vehicle on its passenger side, the report states.

A witness at the scene said the man "fell off his motorcycle" following the crash, the report adds. The victim, who was unable to provide a statement from his perspective, was rushed to North Fulton Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Honda CR-V was cited for improper turning.
