• Hooch hosts Legacy Night alongside double overtime thriller (appenmedia.com) — Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek packed the stands on Sept. 4 for Legacy Night, honoring the 2010 state championship football team while the current Cougars edged Forsyth Central 29-26 in double overtime. Former coaches and players shared stories about building a lasting legacy, and standout performances fueled the win as Chattahoochee now turns its focus to a much-anticipated matchup against Johns Creek High.
   

• HEART OF ROCK AND ROLL Grant to Send Musical to 11 Schools Nationwide (broadwayworld.com) — Johns Creek High School has been chosen as one of 11 schools nationwide to receive the inaugural Heart of Rock and Roll "Power of Love" grant, covering a free production license for the musical. As part of the award, the school must also create an intergenerational community event or outreach program, giving Johns Creek residents a new chance to connect through music and theatre.
