"Our community is at a critical juncture," he said. "It is vital that we return to our original vision for Johns Creek. We are a high-end residential community with great schools, low crime and a high quality of life. As long as we continue to be the best at that, then there will always be high-demand for our product. It sets us apart and makes us unique. We love it and call it home."
The candidate also said he is focused on restoring trust in local government, providing traffic relief, halting high-density development and billboards and road widening projects that "create cut-through highways" and implementing term limits for local elected officials (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Even when he bought his first home in 1999, Bradberry said he was concerned about community development issues. He and wife, Christy, married in 2003 and moved into their current home in Kingston Crossing where Bradberry eventually served as HOA president. It was during that tenure when Bradberry became "increasingly concerned" about the changes taking shape in Johns Creek. That led him to begin attending City Council meetings and getting involved in the Johns Creek Community Association.
He later started Preserve Johns Creek, an organization that works to protect the city's residential character and quality of life.
Preserve Johns Creek is known for its work in drawing attention to the plight of the Macedonia African Methodist Church Cemetery, which the city recently added to its schedule of routine maintenance; stopping high-density townhouses along Parsons Road; reducing the number of billboards going up around the city; and convincing the city to investigate options other than the widening S.R. 141 that could improve traffic without sacrificing homes.

"Whether it is zoning or road improvement projects, every decision made by the city of Johns Creek should ask, "How will this affect our residents' quality of life?," the candidate added.
