Report: Northview Football Player Accused of Attacking Coach at Game

A Northview High School football player is facing a simple battery charge after allegedly pushing a coach at a football game last week.

According to WSB-TV, Keewan Williams, an 18-year-old defensive lineman on the school’s football team, pushed coach Chad Davenport during the school’s varsity game against Chattahoochee High School.

The Northview Titans faced off against the Chattahoochee Cougars at an away game on Friday, Oct. 24.

According to the station, Williams allegedly pushed Davenport with enough force to “send him from the sideline onto the field.”

The Fulton County School System, citing privacy laws, has not said if Williams has been suspended or expelled from school, the news station said.
