Choosing a retirement community can be fun. Pick one or two and just go visit. Even better, most retirement communities offer a two or three day visit to their community to let you try it out. It can be a nominal fee but you get use of the villa or model home, use of the clubhouse and sometimes even use of a community cart. This is a mini vacation as well as a learning experience.
