Special Needs Dance Party Comes to Newtown Park
The city of Johns Creek's event will be held July 29, and is open to individuals age 15 and older.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- It's time to dust off those dancing shoes and hit the floor to show off your best moves.
That's because the city of Johns Creek will host its Special Needs Dance Night, Under the Stars, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 29.
The event will be held at the Newtown Park Amphitheater, and is open to individuals age 15 and older with special needs. Attendees will enjoy an evening of pizza, drinks, music by DJ Sammy and, of course, fun!

Parents are encouraged to drop off young adults to enjoy the dance. Special Needs Recreation Programs & Events are designed to expose participants to new experiences, enhance self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence; and promote community involvement.
The event, which costs $10 per person (pay at the gate), is held in partnership with Great Prospects and the Johns Creek Civitan Club.
