"SPECKLED" With Love!

Here’s a smart, young, well-behaved boy who is just splattered with sweetness.  Meet Speckles.

Speckles is a 2 year old Border Collie Mix who’s totally house-trained, plays well with others, walks politely on a leash and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body.  He listens attentively and responds to commands.  In a nutshell, this dog has it all.  All except a forever home.  And it could be yours.

Speckles’ foster family says he would fit in just about any home.  He’s smart, extremely well behaved and he gets along swimmingly with both big and little canines.  But his true love is people.  Speckles adores all humans around him and follows his fosters everywhere.  He just wants to be part of the family. 

He craves affection; he enjoys long, lavish belly rubs, relishes warm hugs and even delights in a lap sit.   Although at 60 pounds, you’d better have an ample lap!  We’re proud of his current girth, though.  Speckles became a foster because he was being starved-to-death by his owner.  When removed from the home, his bones were visible and he weighed a mere 45 pounds.

Now, Speckles is healthy, fully vetted and neutered. The only thing he’s hungry for these days, is a place to call a permanent home.   It will be a lucky family who takes in this beautiful, wonderful, filled-to-the-brim-with-sweetness fella.  Although his name is Speckles, it’s crystal clear; he is a dream pet come true.
