Both drivers were injured and transported to North Fulton Hospital for treatment, the accident report states.
Karlie suffered a traumatic brain injury and faces a long road to recovery. The page notes the teenager needs around-the-clock care, and will need multiple forms of therapy once she's released from the Intensive Care Unit.

"This will be a hard road emotionally, physically, and financially for them all," the page states, noting Karlie is being raised by her single mother. "Her mother wants to ensure that Karlie has an easy transition home but most importantly, that she can provide for all of Karlie's needs."
